great sketch as I said in skineart, did you show him the drawing? how did he react? doing live quick portraits of people i know or meet for the first time is one of my goals

it was funny, we were in a meeting in a professional capacity so i was trying not to doodle (which in meetings is super difficult for me). he actually only said like 3 words the whole time, he had a producer with him who did all the talking. close to the end of the meeting i broke down and started sketching him, it was hard not too as he screamed to be drawn. i didn't show him. there was another guy in the meeting who was a big fan and he was slobbering all over him at the end getting him to sign all of his original vinyl and whatnot, so i figured that was enough. i have considered emailing it to him though. doing those portraits almost becomes second nature after a while, i think all of the quick drawings during teh commute (which i know you do a lot of too) really starts compelling me to try and capture as many interesting moments as is possible in drawing.

I was slobbering, drooling even. I was the 14 year old girl I always wanted to be. Let's face it. it was Afrika Bambaataa, not Charles Nelson Reilly.
